Influence from media

Everyone has an influence, but what media has given you a particular impact?  From a wide history of censorship and controversy, it's safe to assume things like movies, books, and music are definitely capable of giving us ideas.  This can be as simple as watching a movie and saying, "Hey, I want to do that."
